- Who startups want on their cap table
- Previous investing track record
- Angel investing activity
- How valuable they are to founders
Keep in mind that everyone on this list is exceptional. You’re splitting hairs at a certain point. Pay less attention to who is slightly ranked above or below someone and instead prioritize investors based on relevancy to your startup.
While many venture capitalists angel invest in startups on the side, I decided to omit people like Marc Andreessen (Andreessen Horowitz), Fred Ehrsam (Paradigm), and Keith Rabois (Founders Fund) who are more well known for their roles as venture capitalists than angel investors.
